The law is fast catching up with former Pakistan president General Pervez Musharraf, who is accused of being involved in the murder of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
The Pakistan government has contacted the Interpol to execute the arrest warrant against him after an anti-terrorism court directed prosecutors to seek its help.
Musharraf, who lives in exile in London, has already been declared an absconder. While the court had previously issued a warrant against him, no progress has been made towards executing it. The court has now asked the Federal Investigation Agency to present Musharraf in the court at the next hearing on April 2.
Musharraf's party says that accusations against the former president are 'politically motivated', adding that he could appear in the court once formal orders from the court are served on him.
